Ng Hui Khoon

Hui Khoon studied Physics and Mathematics, Applied Engineering Physics and Physics for her Bachelor, Masters and PhD respectively. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Yale-NUS College, with a joint appointment at the Centre for Quantum Technologies in NUS. Her research interests lie in the field of quantum information and quantum computation, with particular expertise in the study of control of noise in quantum systems, as well as in quantum tomography, which refers to the inference of quantum properties from measurements of physical systems. She has always been very active in the outreach, teaching and supervision of youths from the high-school to the graduate level, and loves working with students to introduce them to science and research.
