Karen Crasta

Karen is a scientist with expertise studying the causes and consequences of abnormal cell division in cancer cells, in the hope of coming up with improved cancer therapies. She completed her undergraduate degree at NUS and her PhD at A*STAR IMCB, before going to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School for her postdoctoral training.

She sincerely wants to help young girls realize how fun and exciting making scientific discoveries truly is!
